 Information from your transactions with us and our affiliates (such as the number of years you have been a Memorial Insurance Company policyholder, your name or address changes, the names of any beneficiaries you may have designated, and the types or amounts of coverage you have with us).

 How We Use Nonpublic Personal Information

We use nonpublic personal information to assist us in the underwriting process; as well as, to administer, service and manage your account.  This information helps to ensure accurate and proper billing; to make possible the availability of products we believe will meet your future needs; and to provide fast processing of your claims.

Again, with you and your privacy in mind, we do not disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except our affiliated funeral homes and as permitted by law.  Memorial Insurance Company never sells or provides customer information to any non-affiliated third party (person or business) for their marketing purposes.

We restrict access to your nonpublic personal information to “those employees, agents, and affiliated funeral homes, who need to know the information in order to provide you with our products and to properly service your account.”  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable federal and state standards to protect the privacy of your nonpublic personal information.
